Enjoy the Views of Life by Chad Hoffman/Jeff Olson
Life can be a complete roller coaster day in and day out. It can lead us one way and than seconds later another way. It’s as if we are supposed to be doing 360’s on a daily basis! That’s the beauty of life. It’s an uphill battle that will make you or break you as an adult. We are the only one’s that can control our destiny. Through God, anything is possible. He is the man in charge. He is the man who see’s what we are doing. He see’s our success and our failures. We must praise God for for he has given us this life to succeed and fail, but to do it with love. He doesn’t want us to hate, just love. So enjoy the views of this life he has blessed us with. No matter how heavy of a task you are faced with relish that you are fortunate to be loved by our Lord.
I was on a vacation back in June of 2017 with a few friends. We were staying in my condo on a resort with a stunning golf course. The second day we were there, we decided to head to the course. My friends were in awe. I looked around and thought to myself, “Why do people react like that?” It’s notable that the book of Psalms offers a clue to this. The psalmist wrote of God ordering the sun to praise its Creator (Ps. 148:3). And wherever the rays of the sun shine across the earth, people are moved to praise along with them. My friends felt this course was amazing, but I could see they didn’t realize who actually created this course.
The beauty that comes out of what I am saying is that our Lord and what he has made (in this case was the course) is awesome! This creation stopped us all in our tracks and clearly caught our attention. The wonder of God’s creation can cause us to pause and realize what is truly important in this life we are blessed with. Ultimately, it reminds us that there is a Creator behind the stunning entrance and exit of the day, one who so loved the world he made that he entered it in order to redeem and restore it. Sit back and enjoy the views of this life our Lord has created for us. “You and what you have made our awesome, Lord!”.
