Love That Will Complete You

He who began a good work in us will complete that work in us.

If we are in Christ and have known His word, we’ve known it is immeasurable.

Philippians 1:6 says, “Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” Now we are made perfect through faith in Christ. — No sin, shame, guilt, doubt and fear.

To be “complete” in Christ, we are to be “pure and blameless” before Him, as it says in Philippians 1:0. That means, being purified and prepared to meet God includes discerning to what is right and wrong, good and evil, praiseworthy and profane.

God is completing us by His love supplied by the truths about Him and His world. He is sharpening our minds and hearts around what is good, and that love — built on the iron beams of knowledge and discernment — prepares us for him, for a perfect, holy God.

When you get a revelation of how much Jesus loves you, you will set your love upon Him. And when you act out of love for Him, though others may see it as a waste of time, energy or money, He will defend you and deliver you from your critics. He will also set you on high. Your ministry will become powerful and life-changing. Your work will be highly esteemed among your peers. Your company will be prominent and highly successful. And it will not just be a job that you have, but a position of influence to impact many lives.

As we feed on Jesus love for us, we will be filled with God’s fullness. Like David, God’s anointing will begin to manage powerfully in our lives. So set your love upon Jesus. Make Him the love of your life today, and He will defend, deliver and set you on high!
